Check your occupation and insured workdays
Use the official DYPA table to confirm that your occupation is covered, the required 2025 insured workdays and the amount for your category.

Check compatibility with regular unemployment benefit
You must not qualify for regular unemployment benefit between 10 September and 30 November 2026. DYPA states an exception for construction workers.

Apply within the official deadline
Online applications through gov.gr run from 10 September 2026 at 11:00 until 30 November 2026 at 14:00. KEP submissions start on 23 September 2026. Sign in with your personal TaxisNet credentials and keep the submission receipt.

What it is
The DYPA Special Seasonal Allowance is a one-off payment of €719 to €1,438, depending on the trade, for workers in specific seasonal trades with the required days of insurance in 2025. Applications run from 10/09 to 30/11/2026.
The 2026 Special Seasonal Allowance is paid to workers in specific seasonal occupations who are compulsorily insured with e-EFKA. The required days of insurance in 2025 and the amount differ by trade. It is not paid to those who qualify for the regular unemployment benefit during 10/09–30/11/2026, except builders. For tourism and catering workers the amount is €719; the DYPA circular sets their 2025 insured-days condition as «75 and not more than 50 from 1/10-31/12».
