Municipality of Corinth: €1,000 for each new child in a low-income family
The Municipality of Corinth gives a one-off €1,000 for each child born into a family with financial hardship, under City Council decision 477/2024. The programme is running: on 6/10/2026 the City Council approved new 2026 applications, as it had in April and July.
What it means for you
If you have lived permanently in the Municipality of Corinth for at least 2 years and had a child, apply to the Municipality's Social Policy Directorate within 5 months of the birth. Family income must be up to €11,000 for the first child and up to €21,000 for the fourth and later (with higher limits for single-parent families and in case of disability), and property and savings limits apply. For twins it is given for each child. All conditions and documents are on the grant's page.
