What it is

Young people aged 18-29 not in employment, education or training (NEET). Following the ALMA model, it covers participants' travel, insurance, social security, basic living and mentoring costs during a supervised work experience of 2-6 months in another EU Member State, after intensive preparatory training in Greece. There is no route yet for citizens to apply directly: participants are identified and selected by implementing bodies that will be funded by the ESPA Executive Structure (Epitelikí Domí ESPA, the unit managing EU Partnership Agreement funds) of the Ministry of Labour. Priority (not exclusion) is given to people with low qualifications and to vulnerable or disadvantaged groups. Application period: no fixed deadline (the call is addressed to implementing bodies, not yet to citizens).
