What it is
The law (Article 211(17) of Law 4782/2021, as amended by Article 17 of Law 4903/2022) tasks the Toll Setting Service with issuing a free-passage card for vehicles of persons with disabilities on all tolled motorways; the beneficiaries must be set by a ministerial decision, which has not been issued yet. The ministry has said the right is planned to move to the Digital Disability Card (for a disability rate above 67%).
Until then, passage for vehicles of persons with disabilities is free or discounted only on some motorways, usually by showing the disabled parking permit, on terms set by each concession contract (e.g. whether the disabled person must be on board). Ask the operator of the motorway you use.
