Conscript Monthly Allowance
Monthly pay for people doing their compulsory or reserve military service in the Armed Forces. From 1 January 2026: €50 a month, €100 in border areas, more with children.
From 1/1/2026: €50.00/month without children (€100 in border areas); €150.00 with 1 child; €200.00 with 2 children; €250.00 with 3 children and +€50.00 for each additional child; single soldiers who are children of large families or orphaned of one parent €150.00, orphaned of both parents €200.00.

What it is
Soldiers doing their compulsory or reserve military service in the Armed Forces receive monthly pay. From 1 January 2026 (Joint Ministerial Decision (JMD) F.840/5/131016/S.18850, Greek: ΚΥΑ Φ.840/5/131016/Σ.18850, Government Gazette (FEK) B 5516/15.10.2025) the amounts are: €50.00 for married or single soldiers without children; €100 for married or single soldiers without children serving in border areas; €150.00 with one child, €200.00 with two children, €250.00 with three children and €50.00 more for each child beyond three; for single soldiers, €150.00 for children of large families (polyteknoi), €150.00 for those orphaned of one parent and €200.00 for those orphaned of both parents. Anyone in more than one category receives the highest amount.
