DYPA Pilot Regular Unemployment Benefit Programme (new degressive model)

The same core group as the regular unemployment benefit (dismissal/end of contract, unemployed, registered with DYPA, not having received the benefit in the last 4 years, at least 175 days of insurance in the 14 months before the end of employment, excluding the last 2). Participation is through random selection (RCT) in a sample of ~15,000 people; it is not the citizen's choice.

Decreasing amount in 3 parts: fixed part 70%→60%→50%→40% of the statutory minimum daily wage per quarter (months 1-12), then 30%→20% per six-month period (months 13-24); variable part for up to 12 months if ≥900 days of insurance in the last 50 months; +€40 for the first dependent family member, +€20 for each further one (up to €100). Example from 1/4/2026 (average pay €980): from €719.00 (1st quarter) to €205.50/month (2nd six-month period).
