What it is
A DYPA programme for 150 unemployed people who worked for Elefsina Shipyards (legal name «Ναυπηγικές και Βιομηχανικές Επιχειρήσεις Ελευσίνας Α.Ε.») and left after 1 March 2024 (voluntarily or by dismissal). It placed them in full-time jobs at public-sector bodies for 12 months, extendable by another 12 months, paying €1,200 gross a month with e-EFKA insurance. Applicants had to be registered as unemployed in the DYPA digital register, aged at least 18, with a Digital Individual Action Plan and a certificate of employment from the company, and without a full old-age pension right. They had to be Greek citizens, citizens of another EU member state, Northern Epirus Greeks or ethnic Greeks. Applications were made online from 5 December 2025 to 12 January 2026 and the final lists were posted on 2 February 2026. The programme is closed. It is not the one-off aid for former LARCO/Hellenic Shipyards employees: this is a job placement.
