City of Athens Job Center — Free Career Counselling and Job Matching for Vulnerable Groups

The Job Center of the Municipality of Athens is an Employment Counselling and Linking Centre for vulnerable social groups and has been operating since September 2025. It offers, free of charge and tailored to each person: employment counselling, links with the labour market and with employers, accounting support, legal advice, support with vocational training and networking with civil society organisations. It is for residents or δημότες (registered citizens of the municipality) of the Municipality of Athens who are looking for work and belong to vulnerable groups (homeless people, recipients of the Guaranteed Minimum Income, victims of gender-based and domestic violence, people recovered from substance addiction, former prisoners, people with mental illness, people with high-functioning autism, etc.) or to special categories (refugees, migrants, unemployed young people and people over 50, unemployed women, heads of single-parent families). The project is carried out by the Athens Development Agency (Anaptyxiaki Athinas) with funding from the “Attica 2021-2027” Programme and the European Social Fund.
