Day Care Centres (KD-IF) for People with Disabilities, Covered by EOPYY
EOPYY covers day care for people with disabilities at contracted Day Care Centres: therapies, educational and creative activities, medical monitoring and transport to and from home. A specialist's medical opinion is needed.
EOPYY covers the daily fee (day care of 8 hours or more, therapies, activities, medical monitoring, transport); not when the programme is ESPA-funded.

What it is
EOPYY contracts public and private Day Care Centres (KD-IF) for people with disabilities, children and adults, with severe motor, intellectual, sensory, pervasive developmental (autism) or mixed disabilities. People with congenital conditions, chromosomal abnormalities, syndromes, metabolic or neuromuscular diseases that cause disability are also admitted.
EOPYY pays the daily fee, which covers day care (8 hours or more), therapies, socialisation, educational and creative activities, medical monitoring and transport between home and the centre.
Admission needs a detailed medical opinion from a doctor of the relevant specialty (every year; for children up to 18 every three years, from a public or university hospital or mental-health centre) and an IQ assessment once. People attending an ESPA-funded KD-IF programme are not entitled to the EOPYY fee.
