What it is
A DYPA action, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility, to train 10,000 unemployed people in digital and green skills and create 7,500 new jobs to hire them, with priority for green-economy businesses. Beneficiaries were unemployed people aged 25-45 registered with DYPA. The business declared posts, DYPA proposed candidates and the business pre-selected. The unemployed person took 80 hours of training, sat certification exams and, once certified, was hired for 6 months. They received a training allowance of €5 per training hour, provided they completed the training, passed the certification and were hired. The business received a subsidy of 100% of wage and contribution costs for unemployed people aged 25-30 (€1,022 a month, €6,132 in total) and 80% for those aged 31-45 (€817.60 a month, €4,906 in total). Applications closed on 14/01/2025 (final extension) and the action ran from January 2024 to December 2025. No new round has been announced.
