What it is
DYPA granted €17,000 for new businesses set up by registered unemployed people aged 30-59, with emphasis on unemployed women. The grant runs for 12 months from the start of activity and is paid in three instalments: €4,600 after start-up, €6,200 after the first six months and €6,200 after the second six months. It is de minimis aid, co-funded by the ESF+ (programme "Human Resources and Social Cohesion 2021-2027").
Funding applications with a business plan were submitted on the State Aid Information System platform (OPSKE, ΟΠΣΚΕ) from 19/12/2024 to 22/01/2025 and ranked comparatively. The original 5,880 places were raised by 70%: 10,055 beneficiaries were approved (results 05/05/2025, appeals 25/05/2026) and payments continue in 2025-2026. The programme is closed to new applications and no new cycle has been announced.
