Special Unemployment Allowance for Slaughterhouse/Abattoir Workers
Slaughterhouse worker (skinner-butcher, offal cleaner, gut worker) in an abattoir, with 100-240 days of insurance in the sector in the previous year. Applications every year 1 March - 31 May.
One-off: 50 times the current basic daily unemployment benefit (today €22.60 → €1,130.00) for 100–179 days of insurance; 30 times (€678.00) for 180–240 days; from 241 days you are not entitled; +10% per dependant

What it is

Applications are made every year from 1 March to 31 May at the DYPA KPA2 office of your place of residence. Next application period: 1/3/2027 – 31/5/2027.
