Ask the legal representative of a public body for a certificate: a Counselling Centre or Shelter of the General Secretariat for Equality network, KETHI, a municipal counselling centre or shelter, an EKKA shelter.

What it is
The action «INDEPENDENT – STRONG – FREE: Start now» was created on DYPA's initiative and gives women victims of gender-based and domestic violence the chance to start work straight away at a partner business. It covers women without their having to be registered as unemployed. A certificate from the legal representative of a public body is required (e.g. a Counselling Centre or Shelter of the General Secretariat for Equality network, KETHI, a municipal counselling centre, an EKKA shelter). You then book an appointment with a specialist DYPA job counsellor or e-mail SupportForWomen@dypa.gov.gr. There is no cash amount: the benefit is the job.
