Disability Pension with Recent Insurance (1,500 days)
An alternative to the 15-year path: 1,500 days (5 years) in total are enough, provided at least 600 of them (2 years) fall within the 5 years before the disability began. Under 21, 300 days are enough, and from 21 to 31, 300 days + 120 for each year over 21.

What it is
At least 50% disability (KEPA-certified). It applies to everyone insured with e-EFKA from 1/1/2024. The 5 years are counted before the date or year the disability began, and are extended for time on sickness or unemployment benefit or a pension. For young people: under 21, 300 days (or 1 year) of insurance are enough; from 21 to 31, the 300 days rise by 120 for each year of age over 21, up to 1,500, without the 600-day condition.
