Home Renovation: the implementation guide is out
On 20/10/2026 the Ministries of National Economy and Finance and of Social Cohesion and Family published the implementation guide of the ESPA «Home Renovation» action: a 70% to 95% grant, up to €36,000 for the works and up to €2,500 for support services. Publishing the guide does not mean that funding applications have opened; the dates will be announced.
What it means for you
If you hold an eligibility certificate for your home, you can prepare the intervention plan now. The funding application is online only, on the Technical Chamber of Greece system, and will open first for closed homes, then for open homes of Category I, then for open homes of Category II. In each phase applications are ranked by order of submission until the budget runs out. A technical adviser is not compulsory. Without an eligibility certificate you cannot apply; certificates closed on 30/9/2026.
