What it is
Announcement (Thessaloniki International Fair, 06/09/2026): in his speech at the 90th Fair the Prime Minister announced two separate measures. First, free dental check-ups «from 2027» for «almost 300,000 children aged 5 to 14». Second, the return of «Dentist Pass»; no ages or start year were announced for it. It has not been legislated yet; this page will be updated when it is published in the Government Gazette (ΦΕΚ). The decision, the amount, the dates and how to apply have not been announced yet.
The previous Dentist Pass cycle ran from April 2023 to April 2024, for preventive dental care for children aged 6 to 12, and has ended. Until the new cycle starts, EOPYY dental care applies to children.
