DYPA Book Vouchers (annual book-purchase discount cards)

Private-sector employee with DYPA unemployment insurance, or registered as unemployed for 3+ months, and indirectly insured family members (spouse, children aged 5+); income limits €16,000/€24,000/€29,000 (+€5,000 per child).

Electronic code worth €25 (including VAT) + a discount of at least 10% at participating bookshops; school textbooks are not covered. 2026 round: 150,000 vouchers, budget €3.75 million.

Who can get it

You are a private-law employee (in the public sector: only indefinite/fixed-term private-law contracts), or you were insured as an employee with unemployment contributions in the last 12 months, or you have been a registered unemployed person for at least 3 months

The number of vouchers is limited (150,000 for the 2026 cycle, €3.75m budget) and scored; large families (3+ children) are exempt from the scoring.
