DYPA theatre and cinema vouchers (Culture and Entertainment Programme)
DYPA gives electronic vouchers for free theatre and cinema tickets to employees, people insured with unemployment contributions and the unemployed, and to their spouse and children. Recipients are chosen by points; the last round was 2023-2024.
2023-2024 round: up to 150,000 vouchers. Value up to €15 (main theatre stages), €12 (children's theatre), €6 cinema (€5 children's films), €10 for 3D (€9 children's).

Apply on gov.gr when a new round opens
In past rounds applications were made only online on gov.gr (Work and Insurance / Compensation and Benefits / Entertainment vouchers), within a few days, by the last digit of the tax number. Watch DYPA's announcements.

What it is
DYPA's Culture and Entertainment Programme gives "entertainment vouchers": electronic codes for free theatre shows and films from DYPA's register of providers. Each round is set by its own joint ministerial decision and public call.
In the last round (2023-2024) the recipients were: - employees on a private-law employment contract; - people insured through private-law employment with contributions to DYPA's unemployment branch at any time since 1 January 2022; - registered unemployed people with at least 3 months of continuous unemployment.
Annual family income (tax year 2022) could not exceed €30,000. For people registered unemployed for more than 12 months the limits were: €16,000 for single or widowed people without dependants; €16,000 for divorced people and €24,000 for married people or civil partners, plus €5,000 per child; €29,000 for single parents plus €5,000 for each child after the first; and family gross business revenue of up to €80,000.
The spouse and children over 5 also got vouchers when they were insured as dependants. Recipients were chosen by points (disability, single parenthood, number of children under 18, income). People getting a similar benefit from another body for the same period were excluded.
Applications ran on gov.gr from 7 to 11 December 2023 (extended by one day) and the vouchers were valid until 30 September 2024. No new round has been announced.
