What it is
According to the Ministry of Rural Development and Food (5/10/2026), the General Accounting Office has signed the EUR 53,773,000 credit to support livestock farmers across the country with the cost of animal feed. The Ministry announced that the joint ministerial decision would be signed in the following days and that beneficiaries would be paid within October.
Until the decision is published, the exact criteria (e.g. type and number of animals, registration in registers), the amount per beneficiary and whether an application is needed are not known. Similar support was given for animal-feed purchases in 2025.
