What it is
Pupils of music and arts lower and upper secondary schools get free meals at school. The meals are organised by the municipality where the school is, and the Ministry of the Interior gives it the money every year from the municipalities' Central Autonomous Resources (KAP), as in previous years.
For 2026 the Ministry allocated €3,365,159.26 to 44 municipalities with such schools (decision 3469/23.1.2026). The decision sets no income condition for pupils.
