The War Disabled and War Victims Aid Fund gives every year EUR 500 of financial aid to each pensioned war victim who is a member. The Fund also covers funeral costs and gives a marriage grant to its members.

What it is
The War Disabled and War Victims Aid Fund (TAATHP) is a public-law entity supervised by the Ministry of National Defence. Every year it gives financial aid (formerly "spa therapy") to pensioned war victims who are its members. By decision of the Deputy Minister of National Defence (Government Gazette B 5661/27.10.2025) the aid was set at five hundred euros (EUR 500.00) per beneficiary, from 2025. The 2026 payment was made in August 2026. The Fund also covers funeral costs and gives a marriage grant to its members; those amounts are not published. The aid is separate from the state war pensions.
