Registered citizens of Alimos get free entry to the organised beach "Akti tou Iliou" with the Citizen Card, valid until 2029. The card is issued on application (ID copy and 2 photos) by email, at A.DI.P.AL. or online; children aged 0-5 do not need a card.

What it is
With the opening of the organised beach on the Alimos seafront ("Akti tou Iliou"), registered citizens of Alimos have free entry with the "Citizen Card". The municipality issued the card in 2020 (an automatically recharged RFID card) and it is valid until the end of 2029.
Holders of a 2015-2019 card: the new card has already been issued and can be collected at A.DI.P.AL. S.A. (38 Nikis St., Alimos, ground floor, Monday–Friday 8:00–16:00).
If you never had a card: apply with a plain copy of your police ID and two recent ID/passport-type photos, by email to kartadimoti@alimos.gr, at A.DI.P.AL. S.A., or through the municipality's digital services (Taxisnet credentials).
Children aged 0-5 need no card for free entry; for children from age 5 a parent applies. Information: 210 9850311 and 210 9850313.
