What it is
An operation of the «Western Greece 2021-2027» programme (European Social Fund+) with the Region of Western Greece as beneficiary. It provides individual career counselling, theoretical training, a work placement in businesses or demonstration workshops and skills certification for 1,167 unemployed people, with a focus on the long-term unemployed. Training subjects cover trade and e-business, digital skills, the green economy and the energy transition, agri-food, tourism and services.
The training allowance is €5 per hour of training, with no deduction for social-insurance contributions. When you complete the training and take the certification exams you get 70% of the amount for the programme hours (absences are deducted); if you pass the exams, 100%. It is paid once, after certification. The hours of each programme are not stated yet.
The operation starts on 1/11/2026 and ends on 31/10/2029. The call for participants has not been issued (19/10/2026); it will set the exact conditions (e.g. DYPA registration, residence, age) and how to apply.
