What it is
By decision 82/2025, the Astypalaia Municipal Council set the municipal bus fares for 2026: - €1.50: e.g. Pera Gialos – Chora, Chora – Livadi, Chora – 2nd Marmari (camping); - €2.00: e.g. Pera Gialos – Livadi, Pera Gialos – Steno; - €2.50: e.g. Pera Gialos – Plakes – Maltezana – Schoinontas; - €3.00: Livadi – Steno – Plakes – Maltezana – Schoinontas.
Permanent residents, persons with disabilities and students get a €0.50 discount on every route. Persons with disabilities and students who do not live on the island get it too.
The municipal bus runs in the summer season; for 2026 the municipality hired a bus with driver for up to 120 days. Fares are set by a new decision every year.
