Annual Cash Grant to Pupils of the Pentalofos Schools (Municipality of Voio)
Every year the Municipality of Voio shares EUR 5,000 equally among all pupils of the Pentalofos kindergarten, primary school and Karouteio lower and upper secondary school. The money comes from a local public-benefit foundation. No application is needed.

What it is
The foundation "Society for Macedonian Studies – Alexandros & Kallithea Karoutas Foundation" (Presidential Decree, Government Gazette 1246/24-06-2009) has among its purposes the financial support of the schools and pupils of the Pentalofos area in Kozani. Every year it deposits EUR 5,000 with the Municipality of Voio, and the Municipal Committee shares it equally among all pupils attending the Pentalofos kindergarten, primary school and Karouteio lower and upper secondary school, based on the enrolment lists the schools send. For the 2024-2025 school year there were 15 pupils and each received EUR 333.33 (Municipal Committee decision 107/2026). There is no application. The amount per pupil changes every year with the number of pupils.
