What it is
A DYPA pilot programme, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility, to create 7,000 new full-time jobs in the Kastoria, Achaia, Serres and Rhodes regional units and in the municipalities of Perama, Keratsini-Drapetsona and Salamina. DYPA subsidised for 4 months the private businesses of these areas that hired unemployed people: €951.57 a month (80% of wage and non-wage costs) for a long-term unemployed person and €713.68 a month (60%) for other unemployed people. Beneficiaries were unemployed people aged 18 or over, registered in DYPA's digital register, who live in and would work in the eligible areas. Businesses declared the posts and required skills, DYPA's job counsellors proposed candidates, and the business chose whom to hire. The subsidy goes to the business, not to the worker. Employer applications closed on 7/4/2026 and the action was set to end on 30/06/2026. No new round has been announced.
