What it is
A DYPA pilot programme, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility, for 850 unemployed people to set up new businesses in the Kastoria, Achaia, Serres and Rhodes regional units and in the municipalities of Perama, Keratsini-Drapetsona and Salamina. The grant was €14,800 for 12 months from the start of activity, in three instalments: €4,000 after the start, €5,400 after the first six months and €5,400 after the second. Eligible were unemployed people aged 18 to 60 from these areas, registered in DYPA's digital register, with a digital Individual Action Plan, who had attended DYPA's business start-up counselling (SAEP) and would set up the business in the eligible areas: Greek or EU citizens, ethnic Greeks with the right to live and work in Greece, or third-country nationals with a residence permit. Men had to have completed or been legally exempted from military service. Applications ran in four rounds in 2025; the last (4th) closed on 17/11/2025 and DYPA lists the programme as closed. The action was set to end on 30/06/2026. No new round has been announced.
