What it is
Supported Living (SLA) and Independent Living (ILA) Accommodation are homes where people with an intellectual disability (possibly also with a motor or sensory disability) live permanently when they cannot live independently without support and their close family cannot care for them.
EOPYY contracts SLA and ILA homes that operate lawfully under Joint Ministerial Decision 3394/2007 and pays the residents' care and board fee. Admission follows the conditions and procedures of the law in force. Residents funded by an ESPA programme are not entitled to the EOPYY fee.
