Restructuring and conversion of vineyards (intervention Π2-58.1, wine year 2026-2027)
A flat-rate payment per stremma (0.1 ha) for winegrowers who uproot and replant, plant with a replanting permit, re-graft or improve the trellising of their vineyard. Applications for 2026-2027 ran 7–28 July 2026; the next round has not been announced.
Per stremma (mountain-island / other areas): uprooting-replanting €2,100 / €1,650; planting €1,050 / €800; re-grafting €930 / €880; better trellising €400. Lower amounts in Attica and the South Aegean.

What it is
Intervention Π2-58.1 of the sectoral programme for wine. Only winegrowers who hold vineyards or replanting or relocation permits can benefit.
The vineyard must be planted with classified wine-grape varieties, be in the Vineyard Register, have harvest declarations for the last 2 periods, be in good condition and be declared in the latest Single Aid Application. The holding must have at least 0.5 stremma (0.05 ha) of vineyard. When the same variety is replanted, planting distances or the number of vines must change by at least 20%. Normal renewal at the end of a vineyard's life, everyday management, hail or wind protection and tractors are not supported.
Measures and amounts per stremma (mountain, less-favoured and island areas / other areas): a) uprooting and replanting or relocation €2,100 / €1,650; b) planting with a replanting permit €1,050 / €800; c) re-grafting €930 / €880; d) better management techniques (trellising, terraces) €400 / €400. In Attica and the South Aegean the amounts are €1,650 / €1,320, €700 / €470, €885 / €810 and €260 / €250.
Applications for the 2026-2027 wine year were filed from 7 to 28 July 2026 in the Ministry of Rural Development and Food online service. The next round will open with a new ministerial decision.
