Cleaning/Lighting Fee Exemption for Vulnerable Groups (Municipality of Keratsini-Drapetsona)

By decision 319/2025 of the Municipal Council, the Municipality of Keratsini-Drapetsona exempts the following categories from the cleaning and lighting charges on their main residence for 2026, subject to a limit on total annual family income: A) people in financial hardship (the needy): up to €6,000.00, increased by 20% for a spouse and for each minor or dependent child, with a certificate of financial hardship from the Municipality's Social Service; B) people with a disability of 67% or more: up to €30,000.00, with a valid decision of the health committee or a KEPA (Disability Certification Centre) assessment; C) unemployed people with uninterrupted registration with DYPA (Public Employment Service) for more than 6 months: up to €12,000.00, increased by 20% for a spouse and for each minor or dependent child, with an unemployment certificate; D) large families (4+ children): up to €35,000.00, increased by €2,000.00 for each child beyond the 4th; E) families with three children: up to €30,000.00; F) single-parent families: up to €20,000.00. Children must be minors or dependent members (form E1). The exemption covers one property per beneficiary, applies for one year from confirmation by the electricity supplier and is not retroactive. Every September-October you submit the documents again for the following year.
