Iasmos: cleaning-lighting fee exemption or cut for disabled people, large, three-child and single-parent families
The Municipality of Iasmos exempts from the cleaning and lighting fees people and families with a disability of 67% or more and large and three-child families (fully or by 50% depending on income), and halves the fees of single-parent families, within income and property limits.

What it is
The Municipality of Iasmos waives or reduces the municipal cleaning and lighting fees for special groups of residents (Municipal Council decision 63/2026, amending 11/2024):
A. People or families with a member with a permanent disability of 67% or more, with income below €30,000: full exemption.
B. Large and three-child families:
- family income up to €30,000: full exemption;
- €30,000.01 to €60,000: 50% exemption, or full if a family member has a permanent disability above 67%.
C. Single-parent families with yearly income up to €20,000: 50% exemption.
For every group the objective value of the real estate of the applicant, the spouse and the dependants also counts: for a one-person household in group A up to €150,000, and +€20,000 for each extra household member in every group.
The exemption is given on application with the documents and applies until a new Municipal Council decision changes it.
