What it is
On its Cyclades, Dodecanese, North Aegean and Saronic lines, Blue Star Ferries also gives discounts to groups the state ferry discount does not cover:
- three-child families: 50% in economy and numbered seats on conventional ships and in economy on high-speed ships, 25% in premium class and cabins (not LUX cabins); children up to 25;
- military staff (officers and soldiers) of the North Aegean and Dodecanese, and Ikaria-Fourni-Samos: 25% in all classes of conventional ships except LUX cabins and VIP seats, and in economy on high-speed ships; military staff of the Saronic: 25% in economy;
- NAT (seafarers’ pension fund) pensioners and their spouses: 30% in all classes, 50% in economy on the subsidised (άγονη) Cyclades, Dodecanese and North Aegean routes and on the Saronic.
Discounts are not added together (the largest applies) and need Greek documents, shown at ticketing and boarding; otherwise you pay the difference.
