Non-salaried e-EFKA insured people (self-employed) with less than 5 years of insurance can choose, for their main insurance, the special category for new insured people instead of the 1st category. It applies until the first five years of insurance are completed.
Monthly contributions 2026: special category €111.06 main pension + €39.40 health care = €150.46; 1st category €185.09 + €65.68 = €250.77. Contributions are issued every month. The category is chosen online at e-EFKA.
