The funding application is filed only online in the state-aid information system ΟΠΣΚΕ, by 30/11/2026 at 15:00, with the call's documents. An adviser or accountant usually helps.

What it is
Action 1.1.2.1 of the «Crete 2021-2027» programme supports setting up and growing new innovative firms, including startups and spin-offs, active or to be active in the Region of Crete. The business idea must link to the regional smart-specialisation sectors (tourism-culture-creative industries, agri-food, environment-circular economy, life sciences-health, sustainable energy, digital technologies) and have innovative features.
Two categories: 1st, firms being set up (with draft articles signed by all partners, registering after submission); 2nd, new firms that started from 1/1/2021 and before the application. Only micro or small firms.
The aid is de minimis. Public budget EUR 2,500,000 (40% for firms being set up, 60% for existing ones).
