Annual per-hectare payment to farmers who for 5 years use pheromone products (mating disruption) instead of chemicals on peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, pome fruit, walnuts, citrus and vines. Applications for the 1st call ran 14.04–05.05.2025.
€/hectare/year (total incl. €18 transaction cost): peach/nectarine/apricot 609 (first 2 years) and 858 (last 3); plum 561 and 739; citrus 675 and 736; apple/pear/quince/walnut 993 (first 3 years) and 1,117 (last 2); wine grapes 503/638 (grape berry moth) or 417/496 (mealybug); table grapes and raisins 1,092/1,228 (grape berry moth) or 1,034/1,201 (mealybug).

What it is
An agri-environment action of the CAP Strategic Plan 2023-2027: farmers (individuals, legal entities or groups) who hold farmland and commit for 5 years to protect their crops with pheromone products (mating disruption, "komfouzio") instead of chemicals receive an annual payment per hectare.
Eligible crops: peach, nectarine, apricot, plum, apple, pear, quince, walnut, citrus, wine and table grapes, raisins. The plots had to be declared in the 2024 Single Aid Application.
The 1st call's commitments run from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2029 and those enrolled are paid every year. Applications ran 14.04–05.05.2025; no new call has been announced.
