A 50% to 85% grant for investments on professional fishing vessels (e.g. safety, working conditions, energy efficiency) that do not increase fishing capacity. Applications in OPSKE until 16/10/2026.
Public aid of 50% of eligible costs; 80% for small-scale coastal fishing vessels under 12 metres overall length without towed gear and for inland-water vessels; 85% in the "Remote Greek Islands". Project budget from EUR 5,000 to 500,000.

What it is
The "Fisheries, Aquaculture and Sea" Programme (PALYTH) 2021-2027 subsidises investments on professional fishing vessels that do not increase their fishing capacity (e.g. safety, working conditions, energy efficiency). Beneficiaries are the vessel owners, either as a sole proprietorship or as a legal entity, who fish professionally with a valid professional fishing licence. The vessel must be registered in the National and Community Fishing Fleet Register and must have carried out fishing activity for at least 60 days in the two calendar years before the year of application. Public aid is 50% of eligible costs; 80% for small-scale coastal fishing vessels under 12 metres overall length without towed gear and for inland-water vessels; 85% in the "Remote Greek Islands". Each investment plan has a budget of EUR 5,000 to 500,000 and the beneficiary covers the rest (own contribution). Applications are submitted in OPSKE from 14/5/2026 to 16/10/2026.
Replacing or modernising the engine is not among the call's eligible costs.
