EYATH Social Water Tariff (Thessaloniki)
EYATH customers on the electricity Social Household Tariff (KOT) are automatically placed on a reduced water tariff: the first 30 cubic metres per four months are free, with discounts on the next ones.
KOT A/B: first 30 m³ per four months free and a 70%/50% discount up to 80 m³, 35%/25% up to 120 m³; KOT C: no fixed charges

What it is
Since May 2019, EYATH (the Thessaloniki Water Supply and Sewerage Company) places on its social water tariff everyone on the electricity Social Household Tariff (KOT), using the same criteria. Inclusion and removal are automatic, from a file sent by IDIKA/HEDNO, with no documents. If you have more than one water connection under the same tax number, bring the approved KOT application and the last electricity bill.
Per four-month period: - KOT A: 0-30 m³ with no consumption charge (only fixed charges: water €8 and sewerage €4, plus VAT); 31-80 m³ 70% discount; 81-120 m³ 35% discount; above 120 m³ no discount on the whole consumption. - KOT B: 0-30 m³ with no consumption charge (fixed charges only); 31-80 m³ 50% discount; 81-120 m³ 25% discount; above 120 m³ no discount. - KOT C (large families): exemption from the fixed water and sewerage charges.
