The 2026 tariff policy of the Chalkidona water utility (board decision 114/2025, ratified by the Chalkidona Municipal Council with decision 159/2025) has a category 06 «SOCIAL HOUSEHOLD» for the permanent homes of large families (by law a parent without a spouse with three children is also a large family) and people with a disability over 67%. Prices per four months:
- 0 to 40 cubic metres: €0.25 (household €0.49)
- 41 to 80 cubic metres: €0.30 (household €0.59)
- 81 to 120 cubic metres: €0.39 (household €0.78)
- 121 to 200 cubic metres: €0.59 (household €1.17)
- above 200 cubic metres: €1.37 (household €2.73)
The water standing charge is the same as the household one (€14.40 per four months, €19.20 with sewerage).
