What it is

The 2026 Improvement Plans fund investments by professional farmers and livestock breeders to modernise their holding (machinery, livestock buildings, etc.). The public expenditure of the call is EUR 263,539,000.

Aid intensity: 70% for energy saving, renewable energy, circular economy and irrigation-water saving; 60% for cutting-edge equipment and for equipment that reduces fertiliser use and pesticide drift; 50% for tractors and implements. The 60% and 50% rates rise by 10 points on the small Aegean islands, for young farmers and for farmers up to 40 with 5 years' experience or an agronomy degree.

Eligible costs include precision-farming equipment: sprayers with automatic section control, electronic dose regulation and low-drift nozzles, sprayers with individual nozzle control, variable-rate fertiliser spreaders and ISOBUS terminals with GPS (60% aid). Spraying drones and backpack sprayers are not supported.

Applications from 6 October 2026 to 20 January 2027 (13:00) in the state-aid information system ΟΠΣΚΕ (opske.gr), one application per tax number.
