Check that the bike and you meet the requirements
The e-bike must have a certificate of conformity with European standards. Each individual is subsidised for one (1) e-bike and must keep it in their possession, within Greece, for at least six (6) months. Businesses whose main activity falls under an eligible activity code (KAD) can be subsidised for up to ten (10) bikes.

Prepare your documents
You will need TaxisNet codes to log in to the platform, the purchase quote or invoice from the shop, and the European-standard certificate of conformity. If you are claiming the disability top-up, keep the relevant certificate at hand.

Submit your application on kinoumeilektrika3.gov.gr
Register on the platform, select the electric bicycle category, enter the model and price, and declare if you belong to a special category so any extra support can be checked. The submission deadline is 31 December 2026, or earlier if the programme's budget is exhausted.

After approval: purchase and submit the invoices
If your application is approved, you complete the purchase and upload the final invoices to the platform. The eco-bonus is 30% of the pre-tax retail price, capped at 500 EUR, while people with a disability are eligible for an additional top-up under the programme's current terms. Exact amounts apply as set out in the programme decision in force — confirm them on the platform before you buy.

Keep the bike for at least 6 months
If you sell the bike or take it out of Greece before six months of ownership have passed, you may be asked to repay the subsidy. For questions, call 210 300 3723 (Monday to Friday, 9:30-17:30) or use the contact form on the platform.

What it is
Under the 3rd cycle of Move Electrically, electric bicycles are subsidised. The ecological bonus is 30% of the retail price before tax, up to EUR 500. People with disabilities and families with at least three dependent children get an extra EUR 500. The bicycle must be sold by a business with a relevant primary activity.
