Send the application with the documents

A three-member committee scores the applications and interviews the leading candidates; everyone is informed by email.

What it is
A charity programme — not a state benefit. The «APOSTOLI» charity of the Archdiocese of Athens, with the international organisation IOCC, gives 12 scholarships every year (third consecutive year in 2026-2027) for two years of free study in a specialty of the student's choice at a partner private vocational college (SAEK) with branches in Attica, Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Larissa, Heraklion, Rhodes, Chalkida and Alexandroupoli. Young people up to 25 (2026-2027 cycle: born 2000 to 2008), Greek or foreign, with a Greek general or vocational upper-secondary school-leaving certificate who are not already SAEK students may apply. A three-member committee ranks applicants by points for place of residence (more for islands and border areas), family situation (single-parent or large family), income and first entry to post-secondary education, followed by an interview. APOSTOLI pays all fees for the two years; the scholarship is given for one year and renewed if the student passes the first two semesters. The student pays a €300 deposit at enrolment, refunded after completing the two years. The 2026-2027 cycle closed on 11/9/2026. The next cycle has not been announced yet.
