Coupled income support for crops (CAP 2023-2027)
A yearly per-hectare payment for growers of wheat, barley, maize, rice, pulses, feed legumes, soya, alfalfa, seeds for sowing, cotton, Corinthian currant, processing tomatoes, oranges for juice or apples in PDO/PGI zones. It is claimed in the 2026 Single Aid Application by 16 October 2026.
Per hectare, claim year 2025: durum wheat €89.43, soft wheat and barley €115, maize €550, rice €300, pulses €285, protein feed legumes €192, feed soya €529, fodder legumes €83, seeds for sowing €470, cotton €733.98, Corinthian currant €348, processing tomatoes €512, oranges for juice €407, PDO/PGI apples €472.

Declare the crop in the Single Aid Application
In the AADE myAGRO application, yourself or through an authorised person. For 2026 by 16 October 2026; those who filed by 25 September 2026 can get an advance payment by 31 October 2026.

Keep the crop's supporting documents
Purchase invoices for certified seed with the official labels, invoices or certificates of delivery to the processor, or the multiplication contract, depending on the crop.

What it is
Coupled income support under the Common Agricultural Policy (interventions Π1-32.1 and Π1-32.2, and for cotton the crop-specific payment Π1-36) is paid every year to active farmers for each eligible hectare of certain crops. The amount per hectare is set every year by ministerial decision; the amounts shown are for claim year 2025 (paid in 2026).
Crops: durum wheat, soft wheat, barley, maize, rice, pulses for human consumption, protein feed legumes (except soya), feed soya, fodder legumes (alfalfa, clover), seeds for sowing of fodder legumes and pulses, cotton, Corinthian currant, processing tomatoes, oranges for juice and apples.
Each crop has its own condition, shown next to its amount: for example certified seed of at least 180 kg per hectare for wheat and barley, a minimum delivery to a processor for rice, tomatoes, oranges, apples, currant, maize and pulses, or a seed-multiplication contract with a seed company for seeds. Apples are supported only in the PDO/PGI zones, Corinthian currant only in 7 regional units and oranges only when they go to juice.
Sugar beet, lemons, peaches and table oranges are not among the coupled payments of the 2023-2027 period.
How to apply: declare the crop in the year's Single Aid Application (ΕΑΕ) in the AADE myAGRO application. For 2026 the deadline is 16 October 2026. The payment is made by AADE (General Directorate of Controls, Aid and Payments), which took over the duties of the former OPEKEPE.
