The Municipality of West Mani fully exempts from the fixed water charge (Municipal Council decision 169/2024) these vulnerable groups:
- needy people, with a certificate of poverty;
- people with a disability of at least 50%;
- large families (with an ASPE certificate) and three-child families;
- single-parent families;
- recipients of the Guaranteed Minimum Income (formerly KEA).
Total family income must not exceed €24,000. The exemption covers only the water supply of the first home. The decision sets no end date.
