What it is
By council decision 6/2026, the 2026 water and sewerage charges stay as set by decision 153/2024, together with the relief for vulnerable groups:
- people with a disability of 67% or more (parent or child) with household income up to €10,000 a year: 60% relief; with no income other than the welfare allowance: 100% relief;
- single-parent families with annual income up to €10,000: 60% relief with one child, 100% with two children;
- needy people receiving KEA (now the Minimum Guaranteed Income): 100% relief;
- large families with four children and annual household income up to €12,000 (plus €2,000 for each child beyond four): 60% relief;
- three-child families with annual household income up to €10,000: 60% relief;
- long-term unemployed, unemployed for more than 12 months, with annual household income up to €10,000: 60% relief.
