What it is
The 2026 tariff policy of the Aigialeia water utility (board decision 154/2025, approved by the Aigialeia Municipal Committee with decision 553/2025) provides:
- large families and people with disabilities: 50% off the value of water used;
- three-child families: 35% off the value of water used.
By law a parent without a spouse with three children is also a large family. The discounts do not apply to customers in the Myrtia settlement (Aigio community).
It applies to permanent residents of the Municipality of Aigialeia and only to the supply of their main home, with the documents the law sets each time. The decision does not state a disability percentage: ask the utility which percentage it accepts.
