What it is
The Almyros water utility keeps a reduced tariff for 2026 (board decision 80/2025, approved by the Almyros Municipal Council with decision 230/2025):
- Large families: 50% off the unit price of the first-band cubic metres (water and sewerage), the standing charge and the maintenance charge. Dependent children count: unmarried under 18, up to 25 if studying, doing military service, with a disability over 67%, or unemployed aged 18-20 and 25-27 registered with DYPA.
- Three-child families: 50% off the water and sewerage charge, on the same terms.
- People with a disability of 67% or more, for their main home in a property they own (ownership or usufruct) with the supply in their or their spouse's name, and families with a dependant with such a disability: 50% off like large families.
- Single-parent or destitute families with an actual income up to €3,000: 50% off like large families; the supply must be in your (or your separated spouse's) name and serve the main home.
