Το ποσό των 15.000€ προσαυξάνονται κατά 50% για άτομα ΑΜΕΑ με αναπηρία 67% και άνω και τους τρίτεκνους (3 παιδιά και άνω) όταν αυτά φαίνονται στην φορολογική δήλωση ενώ για τους πολύτεκνους προσαυξάνεται 2.000€ για κάθε παιδί.»

What it is
The Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of Chios Island (DEYANCH) gives 50% off the whole bill to low-income households (2026 tariff policy, approved by the Chios Municipal Committee on 17/12/2025). Low-income households are those with yearly family income up to:
- €7,000;
- €10,000 for married couples;
- €13,000 for married couples with one child;
- €15,000 for married couples with two children.
The €15,000 limit is raised by 50% (that is €22,500) for people with a disability of 67% or more and for three-child families (3 or more children on the tax return), while for large families it rises by €2,000 for each child.
Also, families who settle more than 14 kilometres from the town of Chios join the social tariff for 3 years, with no financial criteria.
