What it is
The Kastoria water utility sets in its 2026 water and sewerage charges (board decision 170/2025, approved by the Kastoria Municipal Committee with decision 376/2025):
- People with special needs, with a 67% disability, kidney patients, people with thalassaemia etc.: 50% off the bill. Other cases are judged one by one by the KEPA committee.
- Large and three-child families with income up to €30,000, plus €5,000 for each dependant: 30% off.
- The long-term unemployed and pensioners over 67 with income up to €5,000 (individual) and €7,000 (household): 30% off, if there are no overdue water-sewerage bills.
