DEYA Kozani customers on the Guaranteed Minimum Income pay no fixed water and sewerage charges and no charge for the first water bands, and settle old debts in up to 240 instalments. Customers on the electricity Social Residential Tariff (KOT) who owe nothing to DEYA get 50% off the fixed charges and the first cubic metres.

Apply to DEYA Kozani
Apply with proof of GMI inclusion. If you have debts, you acknowledge them and sign an instalment settlement. Each year you apply again to renew. For the KTY (electricity KOT) you file the social tariff application, the approved KOT application and a water bill, also by e-mail to protokolo@deyakoz.gr.

What it is
Since 2025 DEYA Kozani (the municipal water company) applies the Anti-Poverty Social Water Tariff (KTYAF) to the main home of customers included in the Guaranteed Minimum Income (GMI).
What you get:
- 100% off the fixed water and sewerage charges and the meter-replacement fee.
- 100% off water: in the town of Kozani for the first 2 bands of the household tariff, up to 40 m³ per four months; in the local communities for the first band, up to 180 m³ a year. Above that the normal tariff applies.
- Any debts you owe DEYA are settled in up to 240 equal monthly instalments, with a minimum instalment of €20. With the settlement interest stops, and the interest and surcharges are removed in the last instalments.
Conditions: you or a family member are a DEYA Kozani customer for your main home and you are included in the GMI. You apply with proof of GMI inclusion. Inclusion runs from the day after the application to 31/12 of the year after the year you joined the GMI, and is renewed with a new application every year. If you miss 6 consecutive settlement instalments you are removed from the tariff automatically.
Social Water Tariff (KTY) for electricity KOT recipients: under DEYA Kozani board decision 440/2025, the KTY terms stay the same as in 2022. It is for customers on the electricity Social Residential Tariff (KOT) who owe nothing to DEYA. They get 50% off the fixed water charge and the fixed sewerage charge, and 50% off the price: in the town of Kozani for the first 40 m³ per four months (60 m³ on the large-family tariff), in the local communities for the first 180 m³ a year (240 m³ on the large-family tariff). You apply at the registry, in person or electronically (protokolo@deyakoz.gr), with the approved KOT application and a recent water bill. Inclusion starts when the application is approved, ends on 31/12 of the year after you joined the KOT, and is renewed with a new application.
District heating: customers with district heating who are on the anti-poverty tariff (KTYAF) are included without any further step in the Social District Heating Tariff, with 50% off the first 10 MWh of the heating season, provided they pay their debts to DEYA on time.
