What it is
The Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of Pylos-Nestor (DEYAPN) has a special tariff for vulnerable groups across the Municipality of Pylos-Nestor (decision 133/2017, approved by the Municipal Council). The standing charge and all water and sewerage fees are cut by 50% for:
- people with a disability of 67% or more (health committee decision stating the percentage);
- large families, three-child families included, whatever the age of the children (certificate from the large-family federation or family-status certificate);
- needy people with a poverty certificate from the Welfare service.
The discount applies only to the meter of the permanent home. Tenants bring their lease at the end of each year. DEYAPN approves each application by a decision of its board.
